We are currently looking for a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our team.
This position provides for the ongoing delivery of Respiratory Care procedures including ventilator management, insertion and/or maintenance of artificial airways, assessment and monitoring of respiratory status including performance of spirometric procedures and Respiratory Care therapeutic and diagnostic modalities to pediatric and adolescent patient according to individual demonstrated competencies.
We provide care through acute rehabilitation, sub-acute skilled nursing facilities, an intermediate care facility and a unique, integrated pediatric day health and preschool program. Skills / Requirements
Possess a working knowledge of all Respiratory Care procedures, modalities, and equipment utilized in pediatric and adolescent care.
Education Training: Must be a graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program.
License: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license as issued by the State of California is mandatory at all times.
Certifications: BCLS,PALS are required; ACLS preferred. CRTT or RRT as issued by the NBRC (RRT preferred).
Experience: One year of Respiratory Care experience in either an acute or sub-acute pediatric facility is preferred. New grads are considered.
Pay: $25 to $27/hour
Paid sick leave is available after 90 days.
